About the Role

An exciting immediate opportunity for a Print Assistant to join our growing/established Production team based in our Adelaide plant. You will be required to accommodate a flexible schedule, covering rotating shifts across different time frames. You will join an established team who are the success behind print professionals.  Duties include:  
  • Supporting our technical print team in producing printed & embellished labels at a high volume for major national clients
  • Assisting the lead Printer in the operations of the press, including set up and minding.
  • Job preparations using raw materials such as plates, paper, foil, ink & varnish.
  • Basic data records on machine operations 
  • Quality control checking responsibilities.
  • General housekeeping of working environment such as cleaning and keeping area safe.

About You (criteria)

  • Mechanically aptitude (preferred)
  • Experience working in manufacturing industry, especially with labels (preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided) 
  • Certificate II qualification in Printing or similar field (preferred but not essential)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to discern all colors (no color vision concerns).
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • High regard for safety and a proactive, eager learner.
  • Eligible for Australian/New Zealand working rights.
