We are currently looking for an Expeditor to join our team.  Experience is not required but always a bonus.

Responsibilities:   
  • Understand and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual.
  • Understand and support the corporate mission statement, values, vision, and operating principles (attached).
  • Adhere to mandatory daily stretch, safety requirements.
  • Meet attendance standards.
  • Practices and sustains lean manufacturing and 6S procedures.
  • Treats others with respect.
  • Accepts responsibility for own actions.
  • Meets production standards.
  • Knows and understands Multi Color Corporation policies and procedures.
  • Knows and understands the corporate mission statement.
  • Follows and maintains 6S standards and procedures.
  • Knows and understands the scheduling system and reports.
  • Print daily reports as needed.
  • Pick up all jobs from pressroom and distributes to the appropriate rewind machine.
  • Work with logistics team to make sure communication is open on status of jobs.
  • Place orders/jobs at machines according to ship date and machine capability to eliminate taking a job down and setting up on another.
  • Works effectively to ensure all products including rushes are processed and shipped on time.
  • Responsible for keeping skid area organized and up to date.
  • Responsible for bringing empty skids to skid rack.
  • Responsible for getting information from previous shit and updating next shift of any problems, rushes or ongoing jobs.
  • Informs logistics if scheduled run date will not allow for job to be completed on time to ship.
  • Scan factory order into rewind as jobs are picked up from press.
  • Communicate via email on status of order with customer service.
  • Identify to Finishing Manager who may need further training to ensure all employees are cross trained and capable of running.
  • All types of orders and to learn what the specific machines are capable of.
Qualifications:   
   
  • Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
