About the role

An exciting immediate opportunity for a Flexographic Printer to join our established Production team based in our  plant. There are a number of positions available working across both day and night shifts & you will join a team who are the success behind our highly skilled print professionals. A great opportunity to develop & progress in your career and be an integral part of MCC’s world class premium label solutions. Responsibilities include:

  • Operating a Gallus, Flexo print technology to achieve expected target & timeframe objectives
  • Focused on the delivery of client orders in accordance with our high level of customer service standards
  • Maintain the press machine with a strong safety focus
  • Regularly check all components & report any maintenance requirements
  • Quality standard practices & maintaining quality assurance records
  • Training responsibilities & coordination of duties to Assistant Printers.

About you

  • Certificate IV Print qualification required (or similar)
  • Experience printing labels highly regarded and preferred
  • Experience with high embellishment pressure-sensitive labels preferred/ general flexo printing
  • Mechanically aptitude
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Sound verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team
  • Excellent quality control & attention to detail skills
  • Physically fit, heavy lifting required and stand for long periods
  • Ability to see all colours (no colour vision concerns)
  • Physically be capable to regularly twist, bend & conduct manual handling tasks
  • Flexible & adaptable to change
  • Proactive & initiative driven
