About the role

Creative Testing comprises an essential part of the MFG Analytics team ensuring that the most effective creatives are used to drive campaign success for Google.

This role will help to drive the development of our creative testing programme in EMEA and help achieve our strategic roadmap.

Working closely with our Creative Testing project managers, a key feature of the role will include regular liaison with MFG’s Brand Analytics and Planning teams and with our US colleagues, from where the Global account is led.

  • Working to deliver operational improvements and improving signal quality.
  • Delivering learnings beyond ‘pass/fail’. Uncovering insights that enable us to improve the Creative Testing programme’s effectiveness and ultimately improve the quality of in market Creative assets.
  • Leading multi product projects, developing best practices, being a key point of contact for other teams.

Some of the things we’d like you to do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Creative Testing ecosystem at MFG –connecting with key vendors and stakeholders and understanding the process, from briefing to report delivery and warehousing of data for meta-analyses.
  • Partner with key client stakeholders in Googles MLMO (MediaLab Measurement & Optimisation team) to deliver their strategic roadmap
  • Play an instrumental role in the testing, development and roll out and of our proprietary AI Creative testing tool, CreateLift.
  • Coordination and communication with 3rd party vendors to critically assess new/bespoke measurement solutions. Includes development and management of contracts and SOWs.

A bit about yourself

  • A candidate who thinks strategically, always remains one-step ahead and is the perfect fit for Google’s flexible and fast-moving way of working. Google have high expectations of MFG’s delivery and respond best to individuals who are pioneering, positive and passionate. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a data & insight role; practical experience on how analytical techniques/models are used in marketing. Previous research experience (agency, media agency, or consultancy) background is desirable including skills such as questionnaire design and familiarity with fieldwork and research operations.
  • 2+ years of management experience and ability to delegate effectively. 
  • Excellent at building and presenting data in a visually engaging and insightful manner that cuts through the noise. 
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring that the work delivered by the team is of the highest quality. 
  • Strong organisational and project management skills including team resourcing. 
  • Strong understanding of what data points can be collected and analysed in a digital and offline campaigns, and how each data point should be analysed.
