The Client  


Sky are one of the biggest advertisers in the UK and as a business span Entertainment, Sport, Cinema, Home Insurance, Broadband, Mobile and B2B services to mention a few verticals. We work closely with them across their digital strategy and manage the planning and buying across Display, Paid Social and Programmatic.

The Role 


A zealous, bright and self-motivated media planner to assist with the day-to-day management of the account, working closely with the Account Manager and Account Director to deliver creative, innovative and integrated campaigns across a range of channels. This includes ‘digital-first’ audience insight, competitive and market reviews and campaign performance analysis. 


As a Media Planner for EMC, you’ll have the chance to input heavily into the strategic planning and delivery of multiple multichannel campaigns and will be given a range of planning responsibilities that will help you grow into an excellent, well-rounded specialist. Aside from this, you'll be part of an extremely supportive team who always strive to deliver brilliant planning work, pushing industry boundaries whilst maximising returns for our clients’ businesses, so this is an excellent team to learn and develop in if you are looking to take that next, important step in your career.   


We are looking for a conscientious and inquisitive person to join our team for this exciting, blended role. You must be able to operate as part of a team and demonstrate a willingness to learn and try new things.

Who are you? 


You are probing, collaborative and comfortable whether handling data or building creative ideas, and able to advise on all parts of the marcomms landscape (all paid, earned, and owned channels – current and future). 


A data-first mindset: develop an understanding of digital, data, and marketing technology, and how we use them to drive growth for our clients. 


You must be able to work within a team and demonstrate a passion for your craft. We are looking for someone who is always looking to further expand their knowledge of the communications landscape and the client’s business. 


You will need to be comfortable presenting in front of stakeholders and confident when it comes to reporting, benchmarks and performance assessment, providing media recommendations to the client. 


You will support and sometimes lead regular status meetings with the clients and ensure accuracy of the status sheet for the team.  


We will give you the necessary guidance to develop your career and skills, but also the necessary autonomy for you to demonstrate proactivity and willingness to improve yourself, and your clients.
