Sky are one of the biggest advertisers in the UK and as a business span Entertainment, Sport, Cinema, Home Insurance, Broadband, Mobile and B2B services to mention a few verticals. We work closely with them across their digital strategy and manage the planning and buying across Display, Paid Social and Programmatic.

The Role  


The analytics lead will drive our analytical sophistication across two major clients, being at the forefront of new applications of analytics, to support data-led decision making across our planning and implementational teams.   


This role will have dual aspect: charged with campaign analytics (campaign measurement and experimentation, in campaign optimisation enablement, post campaign analysis) and marketing analytics (budget setting and channel allocation, measurement strategy and learning agenda).   

The analytics lead will be responsible for the stakeholder relationships with key technology partners we work closely with in this area as well as the main contact and champion for WPP tooling we make use of in this area. They will be responsible for ensuring this tooling is actively used across the full team to optimise marketing activity.   


This role will be absolutely key in linking short term campaign activity to longer term brand and customer metrics, being the key point of liaison between EssenceMediacom and the client’s econometrics provider.

Who are you?  


You have a keen interest in the future of marketing measurement and a background in econometrics and/or analytics role.   


You would have line managed before and are organised and thorough in your work.  


Good at engaging with a variety of stakeholders across technical and non-technical disciplines, you will hold some skills/ability in either SQL or python (this is pretty important).
