Nutanix is adding a world-class senior product marketing manager to drive the success of the company’s OEM partnerships. The OEM product marketing manager will have responsibility for evangelizing the spread of the Nutanix software across different OEM partner server platforms.  A key part will be enabling OEM sellers and resellers by developing customer-facing collateral, sales tools, content for sales training, as well as presenting in partner training, customer meetings and at conferences.  This person will work closely with Nutanix’s various marketing teams, including demand generation, field marketing, channel marketing, PR, social media and others such as product management and business development. The position will be integral in enabling the OEM partner sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and own product marketing relationships with key OEM counterparts at both the HQ and GEO level
  • Work with Nutanix executive management team and OEM partners to create co-marketing plans
  • Establish joint value proposition and marketing messages for strategic partners
  • Execute marketing plans working with worldwide Nutanix marketing and sales teams
  • Create innovative marketing collateral, sales tools and sales training content to drive worldwide awareness and demand for Nutanix solutions fulfilled by OEM partners
  • Adapt Nutanix programs, content and activities for OEM partner consumption and leverage
  • Set and monitor key marketing metrics to ensure mutual business success

 Requirements:

  • 7+ of marketing experience in high tech, with 2+ years of OEM marketing or alliances marketing responsibility
  • Strong domain expertise in servers, storage systems, virtualization, or a closely adjacent technology
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and does not wait to be told what to do
  • Gets stuff done. Rapid closure on tasks and projects is imperative to out-run our competitors.
  • Proven ability to recruit and manage resources across multiple marketing disciplines (e.g., PR, web marketing, demand generation) to execute high impact product marketing
  • Strong desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic start-up like environment
  • Ability to think and work strategically with senior executives, but also execute as an individual contributor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and polished presentation abilities
  • B.S. or B.A., with MBA preferred
  • Preferred locations: San Jose, Austin or Raleigh
