The Sales Operations Specialist, as part of the Sales Operations team, helps the sales organization run effectively, efficiently, and in support of business strategies and objectives. This position is considered entry-level within our organization. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy repetitive tasks, and are open to training then we want to talk to you! The majority of the Sales Operations Specialist's time will be spent supporting the proposal quoting tool and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other departments to collect and analyze current pricing data, across all product lines, to maintain and enhance the quoting interface tool within Dynamics CRM.
  • Tier II level and backup support for sales representatives in generating and processing sales quotes
  • Work with IT to ensure efficient updating and pricing accuracy.
  • Become knowledgeable on our products and services offerings to assist product stakeholders, sales leaders, and sales representatives
  • Analyze and comprehend current Excel pricebook
  • Communicate ideas, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
  • Work closely with other members of the team as well as independently
  • Maintain detailed focus for extended periods
  • Manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities
  • Provide input and feedback to the sales team and across departments in a professional manner


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fields, or comparable work experience.
  • Sales, database, and pricing or related experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Dynamics CRM
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in business requirements gathering and software implementation is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to effectively communicate with all management level
  • Highly organized and motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow-through on details.
  • Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with sales representatives and to be sensitive to their needs.
