What you'll get to do
Strategy:
- Drive the development and execution of GTM strategy
- Collaborate with sales leaders to provide insights and recommendations that help them drive their business forward
- Inspire change management in the organization
- Design the plan for the next financial year in terms of quotas, account assignments, financial plan attainment, etc.
Operations:
- Develop operational cadence for the sales division and ensure consistent execution
- Build reporting dashboards and drive analysis to increase the performance access to the business owners
- Analyze the health of the business and interpret key performance metrics
- Derive recommendations and craft action plans to address weaknesses and areas of opportunity
- Present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making, operational change and investment
- Implement key recommendations in collaboration with other functions and /or stakeholders
- Support the day-to-day business needs of the sales organization – implement cadence around forecasting and pipeline analysis, account management, etc.
Qualifications
- 5+ years demonstrated ability in a functional field sales operations role supporting large sales organizations
- Ability to gather and use data to advise decision-making and persuade others. You know how to work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches
- Possess business insight, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present complex content to the business
- Consistent track record of partnering successfully with sales teams to achieve business outcomes
- Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management
- Take ownership for actions and you are accountable for the outcomes
- Willing to tackle the tough projects and challenges to support growth
- Experience with Enterprise applications: Salesforce.com, Tableau, Clari, Anaplan
- Experience with driving and leading change across organizations
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business or technical field (e.g. Operations, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, etc.).

Note:
Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
