Role Summary

As a Design System Intern (Remote), you will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts committed to developing the next generation of our system. You will work alongside multiple designers and collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.
This role will report within our PX Enablement & Systems team; however, close collaboration with our partner PX pillars is encouraged (Design, Research, Information Experience, and Engineering).

What you'll get to do

  • Collaborating and working with team members on designing system components
  • Helping to update component documentation for design patterns
  • Working proactively to help maintain and improve the design system
  • Partnering with engineering and product teams to ensure that design artifacts and prototypes are clearly communicated and prepared for successful implementation
  • Identifying opportunities for user testing and partnering with user experience researchers

Must-have Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related technical field
  • At least one semester/quarter remaining to complete after the internship
  • Available to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay: $62 per hour

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay: $56 per hour

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay: $50 per hour

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills, year in school and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for benefits.
