Senior Product Manager - License Monitoring

Role Summary
What you'll get to do
- Establish a 3-year strategy to outline the investments required to ensure Splunk customers can precisely monitor their Splunk subscriptions and how those products generate value in their organizations
- Collect relevant information from customers, analysts, competitors and other sources to streamline prioritization decisions
- Establish relationships with customers and internal and external collaborators to collect key user and customer needs and validate potential solutions
- Build a prioritized roadmap to guide engineering investments towards reaching short, mid and long term goals.
- Define SMART metrics to ensure features and improvements deliver the right customer value
- Write product requirement or PRFAQ documents to translate customer needs into actionable written materials that engineering, pricing, operations and other teams can use to work together to deliver customer value
- Collaborate with Customers, Engineering, UX, PMs, Service Operations, Marketing, and Field on a regular cadence to own the proposed strategy
Must-have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management or technical product management role
- Being data-driven to prioritize requirements, operational excellence and strategic investments to ensure success for customers and Splunk.
- Exhibit a bias for action, think about big goals, always put the customer first, and rapidly iterate towards demonstrably valuable outcomes
- Skilled at socializing ideas to attain a cross-functional agreement. You maintain a Customer and Team-first approach.
- Product Management experience working directly on B2B SaaS applications or enterprise products
- Understanding of the operations of large enterprises in Security, Observability and / or IT
- Prior knowledge of Splunk or other competitors in the industry is a plus.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle and experience with Agile software methodologies

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
