Global Partner GTM Strategist, Cross-Function

Are you passionate about shaping global channel GTM strategy? Splunk is looking for a Global Partner GTM Strategy, Director who is analytical, results driven and can lead through change. Success in this role will depend on your ability to
  • balance strategic-thinking with methodical execution;
  • build new & refine existing, highly cross-functional processes,
  • problem-solving skills, with ability to identify root-causes & propose solutions
  • be anchored in data and have a strong analytical bent of mind
  • lead w/influence (vs direct authority), including senior leadership stakeholders.
The role reports to the GVP of Global Partner GTM Strategy & Solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Work on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope ranging from
    • defining partner profitability, channel neutrality
    • framework for identification of go-to-partners,
    • partner integration into UEM,
    • partner impact metrics/ROI, as few examples
  • Develop global operating model principles for the above initiatives to ensure product & Route-to-Market (RTM) Alignment & Governance.
  • Ability to act as a functional manager & be the ‘quarterback’ – leading cross-functional & cross-region teams without direct line of authority

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of prior channel strategy experience, in strategy consulting firms or corporate/BU strategy or channel/sales excellence roles in technology companies
  • Experience & understanding of the broad software and channel ecosystem.
  • Strong executive presence, including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to both large and small audiences.
  • Embrace ambiguity and ability to bring strategy to global execution.
  • You are a strong team player, goal-oriented and confident, with aptitude and desire to build consensus and resolve conflict in a collaborative manner.
  • Lastly you are adaptive and flexible, able to work and thrive in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and MBA a plus
  • This is an individual contributor role

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $193,600.00 - 266,200.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $174,240.00 - 239,580.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $156,800.00 - 215,600.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
