Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Descriptions: Create clear, concise, and compelling product descriptions for our diverse range of products. These descriptions should highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points to engage and inform potential customers.
  • SEO Optimisation: Implement SEO best practices to ensure that product descriptions are search engine-friendly, driving organic traffic to our website. Conduct keyword research and use relevant keywords strategically.
  • Product Research: Dive deep into product details, specifications, and usage to accurately communicate their value to potential buyers. This may involve collaborating with the product team, conducting hands-on product testing, and consulting external sources.
  • Content Updates: Regularly review and update product descriptions to reflect any changes or improvements in the product, ensuring that they remain accurate and informative.
  • Consistency: Maintain a consistent tone and style throughout product descriptions to align with our brand's voice and image.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure product descriptions align with the overall marketing and visual strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Feedback Integration: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to improve product content quality continually.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging and persuasive product descriptions.
  • Proficiency in SEO and keyword research.
  • Excellent research skills to understand and communicate product features effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
  • An understanding of market trends is a plus.

Education:

A degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Relevant experience and a strong writing portfolio will be considered.
