Key Responsibilities and Duties (Regular Activities)

Fixed Asset Process
• Issue project numbers to Project Managers in accordance with company policy
• Adding and monitoring project budgets within Oracle Cloud
• Processing additions to the Fixed Asset Register
• Ensure addition recognition is in line with company policy
• Assist with Purchase Order issues as required
• Preparation of new fixed asset monthly balance sheet reconciliations and
investigate variances
• Assist in ensuring assets are capitalised correctly in a timely manner
• Assist external auditors to complete their annual audit process on time
• Support stocktake activities
• Maintaining and filing appropriate working documents to support movements in the
fixed assets module
• Undertake other ad hoc projects and duties as required

Key Measurable (How successful performance will be measured):
• Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Up to date balance sheet reconciliations with no aged outstanding items
• Assistance in the annual audit process
• Contribution to the development and growth of financial accounting team
• Effectiveness of communication with team members and other stakeholders
• Compliance with company policies and procedures related to fixed assets
• Implementation and maintenance of process improvement in fixed asset management

Skills Required

Qualifications/Memberships:
• Studying towards CA/CPA

Experience:
• Accounting experience highly desirable
• Technical experience
• Retail background highly desirable
• Attention to detail
