MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
As a valued member of the team, your roles and responsibilities are varied and encompass a wide range of areas which you should designate focus to. Please refer to the below sub-headings which will provide more detail with which you may have part or sole responsibility of. 
 
Drafting Works and Expertise 
As a draftsperson, you shall actively work on AutoCAD and REVIT drafting projects. These projects will be allocated to you from the Australian office of won projects within the greater team.  
The role of the draftsperson on the projects includes but not limited to: 
  • Completing red pen markups supplied to you by the engineer on the project;
  • Overtime achieving an understanding of the work and assisting the engineer and greater team with input
  • Following ESC processes and procedures with respect to setup and drafting procedures;
  • Ensuring QA procedures are adhered to;
  • Morning meeting attendance (Teams);
  • Accurate timesheet and calendar updates (Daily);
  • Ensuring accuracy of designs prior to re-issuing of documentation to engineer;
Continued Professional Development  
  • Commit to completing relevant company led training modules and associated courses deemed relevant to your role within ESC Engineering;
  • Be keen and actively endeavour to progress learning and personal development;
  • Attendance at ESC Engineering provided courses that will benefit the company and you personally
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 
Skills: 
  • Advanced AutoCAD knowledge;
  • Intermediate/higher REVIT experience and knowledge;
  • Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software;
  • Microsoft 365 suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines.
Experience: 
  • 3 years experience minimum in a similar role or industry.
PERFORMANCE GOALS: 
  • Complete drafting in line with ESC Engineering standards and policies;
  • Carry out workload in diligent and professional manner;
  • Participate in performance reviews and endeavour to address feedback;
  • Highlight areas of interest and areas in which you feel current skills can be improved upon so that a development plan can be updated and worked on in conjunction with allocated mentor;
  • Deal with other employees professionally and with respect at all times;
  • Take ownership of tasks and deliverables that you are producing.
