ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital Pasadena is seeking a Veterinary Relations Manager to join our team!

The Veterinary Relations Manager will provide the veterinary community with exceptional service and support to encourage referral opportunities for ACCESS Pasadena as well as provide the general public with awareness of specialty offerings and emergency and urgent care availability!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop successful, close relationships with the primary care veterinarians in the community to allow for easy communication and increased referral opportunities
  • Review the referring history while assessing the successes and areas for improvement with respect to case transfer
  • Inform primary care veterinarians about hospital(s) campaigns, initiatives, promotions, and opportunities for complementary marketing
  • Help maintain updated hospitals’ internal databases of contact information for primary veterinarians, new veterinary hospitals, pet care facilities, grooming and boarding facilities, pet clubs, and pet stores to allow for ease in information distribution
  • Support and market externally all continuing education meetings, including hosting all meetings in an effort to visit with veterinary staff attendees
  • Brainstorm, coordinate, and organize special marketing projects as indicated by marketing team
  • Research community opportunities, book venues, and coordinate with vendors for outside events
  • Review successes and areas for improvement by creating and analyzing metrics specifically related to the retention and referral history of veterinarians and their clients 
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership team
  • Also responsible for assisting Marketing Team with proofreading, expense report
    generation, preparation of marketing materials, and attendance at all relevant hospital events


Qualifications:
Must be knowledgeable about the offerings of the hospitals, be competent in
basic computer programs (MS Office, EzyVet), be creative and energetic, have excellent social
skills, understand marketing metrics, have an appreciation for marketing opportunities, and be
comfortable with presenting to large groups. As driving is required for this position, must have a
valid driver’s license

Job Salary: Starting at $67,500k per year
