Vail Valley Animal Hospital and ER is looking for an exceptional, full-time receptionist to join our team in beautiful Edwards, Colorado!
What we can offer you:
- Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $21-23/hr. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- 4 day work week - 3 days off!

Job Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative your smile and enthusiastic greeting are what sets the tone for the client's visit. You will be on the ‘front line’ of our customer care team assisting clients on a daily basis, making sure their needs are not only met, but exceeded.
- Provide top-notch customer service by being very attentive to client and pet needs
- Answer phones, proactively schedule appointments and surgical procedures, sets reminders, manages patient and client flow including checking patients in/out, and handles basic client complaints
- Assist in cleaning the hospital including but not limited to: keeping reception desk area and lobby clean and sanitary, keeping over the counter product shelves neat and clean
- Process payment transactions
- Handle end of day accounting needs
- Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record
- Facilitate communication between clients and medical team as needed
