Job Title: Utility/ Housekeeping Person
Location: Douglas, Ga Protein Conversion
Position Summary:
The Utility Person is responsible for filling in and assisting in areas of need in the Protein Conversion plant. This person should be trained and comfortable with various daily operational duties pertaining to Feather Cookers, Press System Operators and Load In (Raw Receiving). He/she should have an awareness of all cleaning protocols that exist in the plant and be ready to perform within them. In addition, the Utility Person should be able to accomplish very basic maintenance items such as oiling and greasing.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Skill Summary:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to climb stairs, ladders and reach remote areas of equipment
- Able to read and write (in English) data reports and log sheets regarding critical control points for production, quality and safety.
- Able to drive and operate a Bobcat/Uni-loader and Forklift
- Have the ability to make reasonable decisions pertaining to safety and quality attributes based on operational logs and reports
- Have a safety conscious attitude towards your work and make use of all Personal Protective Equipment that is or may be required by the job
