GENERAL SUMMARY: 
 
Food Service Account Manager will play a pivotal role in the development and expansion of our food service partners while implementing plans to drive revenue growth, demand creation, consumption building initiatives, market penetration, build and maintain strong relationships with our partners. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Pilgrims presence within the food service sector, including restaurants, university and other institutional customers, hotels, and other relevant establishments.
  • Identify potential customers and cultivate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop annual sales forecasts and prepare weekly analyses and reports that monitor and analyze sales activity and market trends
  • Conduct quarterly and/or annual business reviews with key customers
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Pilgrims presence within the food service sector, including restaurants, university and other institutional customers, hotels, and other relevant establishments.
  • Identify potential customers and cultivate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationship with all department levels including Buyer and Management level. 
  • Provide accurate and timely volume forecasts for all assigned segments and customers 
  • Develops in depth presentations to ensure the achievement business objectives. 
  • Any other task or project as required by Management 
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, General Business Administrator, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in food service sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of the food service industry, including distribution channels, customer needs, and market dynamics
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Excellent project planning and management skills; ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
