HATCHERY- MAINTENANCE PERSON

PART-TIME

Position Summary: The individual selected for this position will assume all duties of Maintenance person at Moorefield Hatchery.

Description of Duties/ Qualifications:

• Must have good mechanical abilities. Training and certification for Forklift and Mofet must be obtained in probationary/trail period.
• Must be able to weld, stick and wire, aluminum a plus.
• Must have general knowledge of pluming.
• Must have good electrical ability in 110 & 208 volt, also be able to do minor repairs on month.
• Must have own tools to perform most maintenance jobs.
• Must not have any limitations on lifting on climbing ladders.
• Will be required to use a full face respirator and pass a physical in order to use formaldehyde.
• Must be able to follow a normal PM schedule for maintenance and work on special projects as they occur. Must be flexible in work flow.
• Abel to work on new Aaon AC/ Heat combo unites.

• Normal work schedule: Saturday and Sunday 4am-4pm. Work holidays when scheduled. Also could help fill in for others on vacation.

• Must have valid driver’s license. Will need to get certified in Smith System training to operate hatchery vehicles to be able to pick up parts/items for projects.

• Must pass a Maintenance Aptitude test during interview process.
