Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are available to all team members and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.



HOURS:

  • Day shift, flexible as needed or required
  • Saturdays as needed or required

Responsibilities:

  • Aid with recruiting and completing applicant interviews
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts, both internally and externally, which includes posting vacancies, advertising using various media outlets, attending career fairs, etc.
  • Act as liaison with area employment agencies, temporary agencies, and advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings
  • Responsible for contacting and following up with candidates, conduct interviews, hire applicants
  • Coordinate and communicate the new employee’s starting date, training/orientation schedule, and facilitate the seamless entry of the employee into his/her position
  • Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken or written language to another. 
  • Attend meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion. 
  • Relay concepts and ideas between languages 
  • Convert written materials and conversations from one language into another, such as advertisements, rules, policies and investigation reports.  
  • Employ computer-assisted translation. 
  • Facilitate communication for people with limited English proficiency. 
  • Translate information for applicants during interviews and with hiring paperwork. 
  • Assist the clinic with the translation of medical information and Safety. 
  • Serve as backup for all facets of new employee orientation. 
  • Serve as backup for all facets of benefits specialist. 
  • Maintain highest levels of confidentiality. 
  • Provide immediate assistance to line supervisors. 
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

 Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook) required. 

  • Attention to detail required. 
  • Ability to speak, write, type and translate to and from English/Creole 
  • Personal and professional integrity required. 
  • Comfortable working in cold/hot temperatures and stand 8-9 hours/ day
  • Some weekends as necessary
  • Knowledge in medical terminology preferred.
  • Trustworthy to handle confidential matters/information
  • Human resource experience preferred but not required
  • College preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and Interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent and professional: phone, computer, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-starter, organized, & able to work under pressure with ability to apply good judgment and professional integrity in decision making 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment, team based environment
