Position Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with full lifecycle recruiting  
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Recruiting or HR certification is a plus 
  • Previous recruiting experience in the Veterinarian industry is strongly preferred  
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management system (CRM) 
  • Experience with ATS (ideally Jobvite or other HRIS integrated system) 
  • Possess a savvy and perceptive ability to interact with people and be capable of fostering relationships with individuals at all levels 
  • Skilled with social media platforms related to talent acquisition - LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 
  • Ability to self-manage and motivate 
  • Think outside the box to source for competitive roles 
  • Excellent time management skills; available to work 8 am - 5 pm, with additional flexibility 
  • Remote position and must have the ability to work efficiently from a home office. All required hardware will be provided along with a monthly cell phone stipend 
  • This position is anticipated to require travel 1-2 times a month 
Additional duties will include:
Develop and Manage Strong Consultative Relationships 
  • Executive and Stakeholder Engagement: 
    • Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with executive leadership, hiring managers, and key decision-makers to align with their strategic objectives and operational needs. 
    • Conduct regular strategic meetings and one-on-one sessions with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions. 
  • Client-Centric Approach: 
    • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business environments, challenges, and goals to deliver personalized and impactful advice. 
    • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations that align with client business strategies and enhance their operational effectiveness. 
  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: 
    • Implement a structured follow-up process to ensure ongoing satisfaction and address any concerns or changes in client needs promptly. 
    • Leverage CRM tools and data analytics to track relationship progress, manage interactions, and identify opportunities for deeper engagement. 
Conduct On-Site Visits to Hospitals and Other Facilities 
  • Comprehensive Needs Assessment: 
    • Perform thorough evaluations of client facilities to assess operational workflows, staffing requirements, and specific challenges or opportunities. 
    • Engage with facility staff and management to gather qualitative and quantitative data that informs tailored solutions. 
  • Facilitation and Interviewing: 
    • Lead and facilitate interviews and focus groups with key personnel to gain insights into their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. 
    • Document and analyze findings from on-site visits to provide actionable recommendations and strategic advice. 
  • Building Stronger Relationships: 
    • Use on-site visits as an opportunity to strengthen relationships with clients by demonstrating commitment and understanding of their operational realities. 
    • Follow up with detailed reports and action plans that address identified needs and outline steps for continued collaboration. 
Participate in Networking Events, Dinners, and Professional Gatherings 
  • Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership: 
    • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and professional gatherings to stay updated on the latest trends, innovations, and best practices. 
    • Represent the organization as a thought leader by sharing expertise, engaging in discussions, and contributing to panels or presentations. 
  • Networking and Relationship Expansion: 
    • Build and expand professional networks by engaging with industry peers, potential clients, and partners during events and social functions. 
    • Follow up with new contacts to nurture relationships and explore potential business opportunities or collaborations. 
  • Strategic Industry Insights: 
    • Gather and synthesize insights from networking events to inform strategic planning and drive organizational growth. 
    • Share key takeaways with internal teams to enhance knowledge and adapt strategies based on industry developments and emerging trends. 
Provide Regular Updates to Executive Leadership 
  • Strategic Reporting: 
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive updates to executive leadership on key activities, achievements, and strategic insights gained from client interactions and industry events. 
    • Highlight significant developments, emerging trends, and opportunities that could impact the organization’s strategic direction. 
  • Performance Metrics and Insights: 
    • Track and report on performance metrics related to client engagements, relationship management, and industry participation, providing actionable insights for leadership. 
    • Identify and communicate successes, challenges, and areas for improvement, along with recommendations for strategic adjustments. 
  • Actionable Recommendations: 
    • Offer strategic recommendations based on observations and interactions, supporting executive decision-making with data-driven insights and forward-looking analysis. 
    • Collaborate with leadership to refine strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics.
