Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialist- Albuquerque is currently seeking a full-time, ER Veterinarian to join our team.

You’ll feel the warmth and openness of a unique clinic while having the opportunity and security of a united network that has your back.  Our team consists of board-certified specialists in surgery, neurology, and dermatology. Our hospital is growing, offering more on-site specialty and emergency services. We offer our clients in-house bloodwork, digital radiography, after-hours emergency surgery, and critical care support when needed. We also offer CT, acupuncture, ultrasonography, MRI, and animal behavioral services. 
 
OUR HOME:
Best known for the International balloon fiesta, Albuquerque is culturally rich and a naturally beautiful city.  It has attracted new residents with its favorable economy and artistic atmosphere.  There is plenty to do to stay buys, from art galleries to historic Native American sites and gardens.  Albuquerque offers quick access to outdoor recreation, such as hiking, mountain biking and amazing views of mountains and formations. 
 
OUR HOSPITAL:
We provide emergency care to dogs and cats in the greater Albuquerque area. Our specialty services include dermatology, neurology, behavioral medicine, acupuncture, and emergency care.
 
We are a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that provides emergency care for injured and sick dogs and cats as well as specialty medical and surgical treatment by skilled doctors on a referral basis. Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists have doctors highly trained in critical care, dermatology, neurology, and animal behavior.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff to ensure a compassionate and collaborative work environment.
  • Motivated to foster a learning environment for colleagues, support staff, and veterinary students visiting the hospital.
  • Triage and facilitate treatment plans for emergency patients.
  • Continue care of specialty patients who are hospitalized overnight and on weekends.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
  • Provide clear and complete communication to clients and support staff.
  • Communicate with referral partners (verbally and with referral letters)
  • Attend morning rounds to collaborate with specialists on the currently hospitalized patients.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Support the hospital's Fear-Free culture and commitment.
