The  Opportunity
In this role, the Marine Fueling, PIC  (Person In Charge) will assist the drivers eith operating marine fuel tanks, cleaning fuel equipment, setting up the fuel hoses  and pumping gas to large marine vessels. You will be working outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions. You will travel to various marine locations so some overnight travel is required.  You will be required to pass a DOT medical fir this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned bunker deliveries
  • Coordinate and liase with all dock personnel to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
  • Arrive at the vessel in advance of trucks to coordinate with vessel staff and setup for delivery
  • Handle post delivery paper work and break down
  • Ensure all USCG regulations and company safety policies are followed
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to do work that requires physical exertion and outside work in the elements. Candidate should also have the ability to work weekends and evenings.
  • Experience in the marine industry desired but not required.
  • Must pass a DOT Medical
  • Bi-lingual desired but not required
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relations
  • Prolonged periods working outdoors.
