Salary Range: $20.50-$24.50/hour
*Compensation will be commensurate with the number of post-secondary terms completed and any relevant prior internship or practical experience.*
The Opportunity:
The Sponsorships Intern will support the Sponsorships Team in the planning and coordination of sponsorship and hospitality activations across our motorsports and professional sports partnerships. This entry-level role is ideal for a student looking to build a career in sports marketing, sponsorship, or event management.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning and coordination of sponsorship activations
- Manage ticketing, guest registration, and customer communications
- Coordinate hospitality logistics including dinners, travel, transportation, and itineraries
- Oversee gifting logistics and tracking
- Maintain detailed spreadsheets to ensure all event elements are accurate and delivered on time
- Liaise with external agencies and vendors
- Support ongoing sponsorship sports and industry partnerships
- Assist with general event management initiatives
Education:
- Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate (within one year) of, a Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
Requirements:
- Available for 4-month term beginning May 2026
- Strong interest in sports marketing, sponsorship activation, and event management
- Highly detail-oriented; able to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
- Occasional weekend work will be required
