The Opportunity:
The System Analyst Intern will be responsible for supporting a variety of applications and processes, ensuring a positive experience of the organization’s customers, partners, suppliers, and employees. The role includes managing content standards, coordinating global changes, and working with users to maintain the systems they support. This position will work with business and other IT users to understand the underlying Business processes and related Technical processes of systems they support to implement and deliver enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Incident Management, diagnose root cause of issues and work with team to complete resolutions
- Responsible for completing requests and tasks in a variety of supported applications
- Acts as IT liaison for internal and external contacts related to assigned systems
- Actively involved in and contributes throughout the SDLC process and/or Change Approval Board Process
- Responsible for analysis, translation, and simplification of business requirements to technical and functional requirements.
Education:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science would be an asset however relevant experience or related education would also be considered
Requirements:
- Knowledge of change management methodology
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Business Analyst Certification would be an asset
- Analytical problem solving
- Technical writing skills
- Effective communication for technical and non-technical audiences
