The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Collections Supervisor, the Collections Summer Intern will assist the Collections team with daily collections and account clean-up projects. This role is ideal for a student comfortable contacting customers, following up on overdue payments, and helping maintain accurate account records.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound collection calls on overdue US customer accounts
  • Secure payment commitments and document all customer interactions accurately
  • Support simple collections and account clean-up activities
  • Assist with integration-related projects and data clean-up
  • Review aging reports and update tracking spreadsheets in Excel
  • Provide general administrative support to the Collections team

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in Canadian Finance, Accounting, or a related Business/Commerce post-secondary program. Preference for students in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year.

Requirements:

  • Available for a 4-month term beginning May 2026
  • Strong phone etiquette and clear communication skills
  • Demonstrated maturity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a high-volume environment
