The Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting packages
- Compile and analyze financial results to support business decision-making
- Support variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) and identify key drivers
- Facilitate and support the monthly accruals process
- Perform data extraction and analysis from ERP and reporting systems
- Conduct data reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Assist with KPI tracking and dashboard updates
- Collaborate with Accounting to align financial reporting and forecasting assumptions
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within reporting processes
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Students in 3rd or 4th year of study preferred.
Requirements:
- Available for a 4-month term beginning in May 2026
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
