The Opportunity:
The Talent Acquisition summer intern will support Sunoco's Human Resources team during a four‑month term, assisting with daily recruitment activities. This role includes creating and managing job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and preparing employment letters. The student will also provide general support to the Talent Acquisition team on HR tasks and special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage job postings across various platforms.
- Support Talent Acquisition team members in reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews.
- Prepare employment documentation, including offer letters and decline letters.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and related recruitment records.
- Assist Talent Acquisition team members with HR tasks, special projects, and events as needed.
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post‑secondary institution and working toward a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Human Resources.
- Must be in the 3rd or 4th year of the program.
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.9 or higher and be in good academic standing.
Requirements:
- Available for a four‑month term beginning on or around September 2024.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership through academic or extracurricular activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset.
- Creative and analytical thinker with basic project management abilities; self‑motivated and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Tenacious, entrepreneurial, and committed to finding collaborative, win‑win solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
