The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Collections Supervisor, the Collections Analyst Intern will support the Collections team with operational finance activities across the order-to-cash cycle. This role will focus on customer account reconciliation, credit clean-up, and supporting integration initiatives. The position offers hands-on exposure to Accounts Receivable, sub-ledger processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reconciliation of aged credits and legacy customer account balances
  • Support clean-up of historical account discrepancies and data issues
  • Review customer account activity and sub-ledger data to identify irregularities
  • Analyze aging reports and interpret transactional narratives to determine appropriate next steps
  • Support initiatives related to account clean-up and integration activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand customer account structures and processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of account adjustments and reconciliation outcomes
  • Contribute to broader order-to-cash operational finance activities

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field. Preference for 2nd, 3rd or 4th year students.

Requirements:

  • Available for a 4-month term beginning May 2026
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to analyze data, understand narratives, and problem-solve independently
  • General understanding of Accounts Receivable, sub-ledgers, and order-to-cash processes is an asset
  • Prior exposure to collections, billing, cash application, credit, or operational finance is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
  • Professional communication skill
