Your Role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions.
- Contribute to projects involving hypervisors, cloud databases, and virtual machine scheduling.
- Engage in distributed systems and storage performance optimization for improved scalability.
- Participate in mentorship programs and receive guidance and training from experienced engineers.
- Contribute to the development of additional features and functionalities in existing products.
- Present project findings and progress at team meetings, reinforcing communication skills and teamwork.
- Engage in continuous learning to keep up with evolving technologies and methodologies.
- Complete assigned tasks within deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, or Golang.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling engineering challenges.
- Understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and distributed systems is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts and project goals.
- Application Screening: We will review your application by 27 April to understand your unique talents and skills in relation to our opportunities.
- Online Technical Assessment: This assessment is expected to take up to 2 hours and will evaluate your coding skills, systems knowledge, and test mindset. It consists of 3 coding problems in a language of your choice. You can complete it at any time within the 48-hour window.
- Technical interviews with our hiring teams to showcase your skills.
- Students who advance to this round will receive preparation prior to the interviews.
- Expect two in-person interviews with Nutanix engineers. These are designed to assess your technical skills, role readiness, and motivation for the opportunity at Nutanix. Each meeting will offer you an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the team you’ll potentially work with – W/C 4 May and 11 May

Work Arrangement
On Site: This role is based on-site, offering the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with team members in a dynamic and engaging work environment. Being physically present allows for seamless teamwork and direct access to resources that support your success. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
