About the Team

The ServiceNow Developer role is part of the Digital Experience Team at Nutanix, which is dedicated to enhancing the overall experience of our internal stakeholders through innovative IT solutions. This team operates remotely, primarily collaborating across various geographic locations, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The team's mission is to deliver reliable, user-friendly technology solutions that drive efficiency and satisfaction within the organization, ensuring seamless service delivery across IT Service Management (ITSM) and Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).

You will report to the Sr. Digital Experience Manager, who is known for their supportive leadership style that emphasizes open communication and empowerment. The team operates in a remote environment, allowing for flexible work arrangements, with no specific requirement to meet in the office. This enables team members to function effectively from anywhere while maintaining close connections through virtual collaboration tools.

Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training sessions, or stakeholder engagements, but specific travel details will be discussed during the hiring process. The focus is primarily on remote collaboration, making it easier for the team to stay connected while minimizing travel demands.

 

Your Role

  • Develop and configure ITSM and HRSD modules in ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Triage and resolve ITSM incidents, focusing on urgent production issues while managing sprint work effectively.
  • Design and implement REST and SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using Integration Hub.
  • Conduct thorough testing of changes, utilizing Automated Test Framework (ATF) to validate releases and ensure system stability.
  • Document workflow processes and resolutions in the team knowledge base to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engage in sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions, collaborating closely with product owners and architects.
  • Achieve successful completion of the platform upgrade with zero P1 issues and expand Moveworks integrations in the first year.

 

What You Will Bring

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and HRSD modules
  • Expertise in REST and SOAP API development, including inbound/outbound integrations
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, and the ServiceNow scripting environment
  • Strong knowledge of Flow Designer and Workflow Editor capabilities
  • Experience with Moveworks integrations and conversational AI workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with test-driven development practices and Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD) are a plus

 

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $114,400 and USD $229,200 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
