The Opportunity

The Finance Transformation Manager will help drive growth and scale across the Finance organization at Nutanix. This role serves as a financial systems subject matter expert and project manager and will support the following: 

Partner with process owners and cross-functional stakeholders to maximize the value of financial systems, applications, and automated processes 

Lead the implementation of value-added solutions and enhancements, including capability definition, requirements, project planning, testing, and go-live support 

Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives through technology and automation; propose and deliver process and systems improvements 

 

 

About the Team

The Finance Ops & Transformation Team’s mission is to drive operational excellence and lead transformative change—empowering our people and optimizing processes and systems so Finance is a strategic, scalable, and impactful business partner. We provide program and project management (PMO) and business process analysis support to enable process transformation, scalability, and standardization. We partner with finance process owners and subject matter experts to prioritize initiatives and other projects impacting the Finance organization. In collaboration with finance leaders, we develop the Finance program roadmap, facilitate requirements workshops, coordinate solution design and build activities, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) through post go-live support. We build strong relationships with partners across IT, BizTech, SaaS teams, and other cross-functional groups. 

 

Your Role

Liaise with internal and external systems consultants, business process owners, and cross-functional partners across IT, BizTech, and SaaS teams 

Define key metrics and dashboards to monitor progress against Finance priority initiatives 

Track and facilitate sessions with global and regional process owners to identify priorities that inform the Finance roadmap 

Participate in business requirements gathering; facilitate process discussions; document solutions and process changes 

Support UAT by documenting test results, tracking issues, and coordinating triage and resolution with responsible teams 

Conduct deep-dive process and systems analyses to identify root causes, opportunities, and recommended actions 

Manage projects from concept through implementation; ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables regularly 

Provide regular project status updates and coordinate with all stakeholders impacted by the project 

 

What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience managing finance systems projects and enhancements 

2+ years of supporting end-to-end accounting and finance processes (e.g., quote to cash/revenue, record to report, procure to pay, stock, payroll) Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting timelines 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, from end users to executives 

Strong project management and business process analysis skills 

Understanding of both Agile & Waterfall project methodologies 

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently 

Detail-oriented with a structured, organized approach to performing and reviewing work 

Ability to develop documentation for business requirements, use cases, training and user procedures 

Experience with enterprise systems such as NetSuite and/or other Tier 1 ERP solutions; Coupa, Salesforce, Workday, Xactly, Expensify, Immedis, Zuora RevPro, and Tableau preferred 

Proficiency with AI tools and prompt development to improve productivity and outcomes 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field 

 

 

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 184,000 and USD $ 243,600 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
