The tax team is seeking an ambitious and determined graduate to join the Logitech culture, values and exhibiting environment in a role that will expose them to indirect taxation in the EMEA region. You need to be ready to integrate in a fast paced environment where they will get the chance to improve their knowledge about indirect taxation and developing automation processes for complex systems involving VAT reporting. 

Our programme is aimed at level 8 graduates coming from accounting/business & information systems academic backgrounds. You will need to have a strong academic background: min 2.2 at Level 8 to qualify for this role. In addition to a strong academic background, you will need to be proactive with solving your tasks, results orientated and willing to go the extra mile to understand how things work in Logitech and to achieve the outcomes you have set for yourself.

Your traineeship will include mentoring and development by a supportive team in the following areas:

  • VAT compliance focusing on multiple jurisdictions in Europe, Africa and the Middle East

  • How to approach VAT compliance and structure your tasks in a streamlined manner to take full advantage of current developments in database automation 

  • Understanding how to navigate work in a multinational environment

  • Researching complex VAT scenarios to determine the correct treatment applicable and how to translate it into an automated process

  • Approaching any issues in a constructive manner focused on finding lean solutions

  • Working together in a team and coordinating work within the tax team and within the wider Finance function of Logitech

  • Working with Excel at an advanced level.

Essential criteria

  • You have pursued a graduate degree focusing in Finance/Accounting or information systems

  • Excel intermediate knowledge, meaning you are comfortable working with formulas relevant to accounting, Power Query, Power Pivot.

Desirable criteria

  • A second language is desirable but not essential 

  • Previous internship/placement experience
