The Team and Role:

The Senior Retail Key Account Manager (South Africa) is responsible for achieving the Sell Through target (Revenue) for customers in the Retail Channel in South Africa. The candidate will work with the ZASA Cluster Head to define the sales goals in his territory and then work with Strategic Retail partners to achieve those sales goals.

In this role you will:

● Work with the ZASA cluster head to define the annual sales quotas along with the sales and marketing strategies in your territory.
● Identify, develop and maintain an effective relation with the Strategic and Key Accounts within South Africa.
● Be responsible for initiating, planning and implementing a quarterly business plan addressing sell through  by customer and activities needed to achieve the objectives
● Deploy the agreed Quarterly Business Plan at Account level in your territory. Continuously monitor the deployment to ensure smooth progress. Identify issues, recommend corrective measures with partners to ensure overall achievement of Quarterly Business Plan.
● Be responsible for achieving the Sell Through target (Revenue) for the customers base in your territory
● Collaborate with the marketing and trade marketing colleagues to achieve the long term brand goals for Logitech in your territory
● Support the Category Managers in developing the best product offerings to the consumers in your territory
● Continuously monitor the development of Logitech products in your territory in terms of market share, distribution, visibility and product mix
● Continuously work with category and marketing managers to conduct trainings and seminars on Logitech products in your territory to help Retail partners sell Logitech products better
● Provide a continuous/cohesive flow of market intelligence from your territory on competitor activities and pricing, market characteristics and trends, price waterfalls, benchmarking reports, distribution and visibility
● Define, manage and control marketing budgets by account, to ensure the relative ROI and success parameters
● Anticipate market dynamic changes to drive new, relevant solutions to customers
● Increase the Value and Volume of Logitech products sold through the identified customers in your territory
● Define the product listings for the key accounts in your territory. Monitor the listings and stock levels at the key customers to minimize overstocking and shortage situations. Submit quarterly forecast for key accounts and control of actual execution.


Key Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Extensive Key Account Management experience with a proven track record in Consumer Electronics, IT Retail Channel or FMCG
• Product Knowledge and understanding of Market Segmentation and Differentiation Principles
• Positive, “Can do, Will do” attitude
• Unquestionable integrity
• Strong data driven analytical skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong Financial acumen and ability to analyze ROI
• High Level Negotiation Skills
• Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to the details
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Good knowledge of IT Retail channel
• Relevant degree education
