NURSE - RN/LPN
Description
Principle Responsibilities:
- Provide First Aid treatment to injured employees from various parts of the facility
- Must be able to carry, lift and maneuver first aid response bag (weighting between 30-40 lbs.), back board, stretcher, AED, wheel chair and any other medical necessities when responding to an accident.
- Administer, document and track vaccinations (including-Tetanus, Hepatitis B)
- Perform Drug and Alcohol screening for Powered Industrial Truck operators, and as required
- Conduct annual hearing testing for facility employees
- Assist in conducting Daily restrictive duty checks
- Must be able to document and maintain nursing documentation after each employee visit or communication
- Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Deliver courteous and professional communications at all times
- Notify the safety department any time there is a serious accident
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- And any other duties as reasonably associated with the above duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
- Combination of office setting as well as production and maintenance settings
- Exposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives likely
- Slippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise prevail
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Degree/GED equivalency required
- RN/LPN license
- Must be able to read and write English
- Spanish a plus, but not required
Hours 10pm -6am
Experience: Entry level
Special Skills: Computer Skills Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Relationships:
Internal: Daily communication with employees.
External: May occasionally communicate with the medical community, Third Party Administrators, etc.
