JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title: Road Service Manager

Department: Breakdown

Location: Greeley, CO

Reports to: Director of Maintenance

 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day activities of the breakdown/warranty department and all direct reports.
  • Responsible for work schedules, productivity scorecards, warranty recovery goals, tracking vacation and sick days of direct reports.
  • Responsible for ComData reconciliation.
  • Enter repair data, verify and monitor parts and repair orders in maintenance software.
  • Responsible for DOT roadside inspections reconciliations.
  • Ensure road repairs and breakdowns are repaired in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain good vendor relationships.
  • Must be available and on call 24 hours.
  • Responsible for after-hours breakdown, scheduling and reconciliations.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with drivers and technicians.
  • Warranty recovery responsibilities.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have good communications and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to work under pressure situations and multi-task.
  • Be a team player, hard worker, dependable and reliable, flexible and on-call at any given time.
  • Commercial driver’s license is desired but not required.
  • Must have excellent computer knowledge and skills.
  • Must have trucking background and be familiar with class 8 tractors and trailers.
  • Must have mechanical knowledge of tractors and trailers.
  • Must be able to work with vendors and manufacturers to reclaim parts and labor costs associated with warranties.
  • Previous people management responsibilities a plus.

 

 

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

 

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 annually and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
