Job Title: Packaging Coordinator

Location: Omaha

Report to: Purchasing Supervisor

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinates material offloading with shipping to ensure daily production supplies are available
  • Conducts a physical inventory of packaging materials located within the plant to be compared with SAP inventory
  • Advises purchasing on material shortages or unusual usages
  • reconciling and troubleshooting packaging inventory on a daily basis,
  • performing data entry, and issuing packaging supply items from the store room.
  • Follows the exchange program for personnel items, maintaining supply logs, conducting cycle and inventory counts, and insuring security measures are followed
  •  

 

Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required

 

Skills/Abilities Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in SAP preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including some Saturdays and Sundays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
