SAP SD Functional Analyst II

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a SAP SD Functional Analyst II for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for business and systems analysis functions supporting our supply chain systems, focusing on SAP Sales and Distribution, Global Trade Services, Fiori apps, and Transportation Management. They will use their analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to maximize IT investments. Responsibilities include process mapping, designing, configuration, requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, quality control testing, end-user training, documentation, ongoing maintenance, and enhancements for SAP. This role also involves understanding and testing with other systems integrated with SAP. The candidate must be willing to learn new functionalities, grow with the position requirements, and be an integral team member. Additionally, this role will provide SAP support for a global installation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand how applications support business processes and apply this knowledge to solve defined business problems.
  • Perform SAP system configuration to solve production issues, implement enhancements and prototype new functionality.
  • Design and deliver high quality solutions that meet overall business requirements.
  • Interface with business process owners to facilitate process improvement through enhanced or new application functionality.
  • Interface with development team members to clearly define requested changes.
  • Develop documentation for systems and processes.
  • Document functional business requirements and interpret them into process and system designs.
  • Perform regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
  • Understand customer needs and quantify appropriate actions.
  • Understand security needs and coordinate with required IT and Business team members.
  • Effectively transfer knowledge to the customer for on-going support.
  • Design and document test plans: Unit, integration, and regression.
  • Independently manage and deliver projects timely.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred)
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP SD, GTS, and TM systems
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Order to Cash processes (Pricing, Quotations, Sales Order Entry, ATP, Rebates, Accruals, Order Fulfillment, Sales Invoicing, Shipping/Transportation, Billing, and Payment)
  • Experience with SAP S4HANA TM module for Shipper scenarios, focusing on Intermodal transportation and Advanced TM
  • Proficient in SAP SD: Order to Cash processes, including sales orders, pricing, deliveries, logistics, and billing with integration with TM and GTS systems
  • Skilled in TM functionalities (Business Partners, Transportation lanes, locations, Rates with scale, Charge calculation processes, OTR/DTR, Freight Units, Container units, Freight orders, Freight Bookings, Planning profiles, transportation planning, freight settlement processes, disputes management, claims processing, Triggering point for TM process, 3rd Party integrations, Optimizer and manual planning- Rail, Road, Sea, OTC integration, GTS integrations)
  • Experienced in GTS functionalities (Customs management, compliance management, PHIS integration, Sanctioned Party Lists, Embargo, Legal controls, Letter of credit integration, License management, product classification, forms, and integration with sub-systems like AES, CBP, Banks, etc.)
  • Experience with integration points between SAP, middleware, and sub-systems
  • Excellent communication and relational skills with Positive attitude towards learning new functionalities
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work with various IT groups to deliver business solutions
  • Active participant in functional and technical discussions
  • Willingness to travel as needed (10% domestic/international)
  • Availability outside typical office hours for urgent project and support tasks
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain for Transportation Planning & Execution, SAP Global Trade Services, SAP Transportation Management, and business experience in SCM
  • Experience with testing software solutions
  • CPG and Protein industry experience
  • EDI Idocs, WEBSERVICES and XML data systems integrations and ABAP debugging skills

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $75,000-$120,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
