PM SCHEDULER/PLANNER
Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for directing, controlling, and coordinating all maintenance parts procurement and software management, in order to maximize the long-term and short-term profitability of the company while maintaining or exceeding Pilgrims performance standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of developing and implementing structured preventative maintenance process including an analysis of appropriate use of spare parts to keep the plant in operation 24/7.
- In charge of coordinating and supervising all tasks of different groups of engineering and contractors.
- In charge of budget and projects representing economy improvements and cost reduction in the process and plans for the future.
- In charge of managing and maintaining environmental and safety regulations and in compliance with current permits.
- Directs and coordinates all maintenance parts purchasing, stocking, and issuance.
- Lead coordination of organizing parts per maintenance schedule and / or per request.
- Management of all parts inventory.
- Management of all maintenance related consumables.
- Manages productive relationships between vendors / suppliers and Pilgrims.
- Responsible for management of Pilgrims Maintenance Software (PM’s & Work Orders).
- Work directly with maintenance to schedule work and develop Procurement Plan.
- Work directly with maintenance Leadership and Plant Technical Manager to develop and adhere Fiscal Year R&M Budget.
- Listen and develop plans to meet changing maintenance / business needs.
- Work directly with Plant Engineering to identify and develop parts planning of new equipment.
- Manage plant asset status by working directly with Accounting department.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Three (3) years related work experience, preferable in a Manufacturing Industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Bilingual
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor Engineering Degree (BSIE, BSME, BSEE) or Technical Associates Degree or completion of Vocational/Technical specialty certification/licensure program in a related field.
