Job Description FAB Scaler
- Prioritize and organize the make sheet with the cattle available to fill product orders
- Direct the Chain Feed Person to put the correct grade cattle on the chain and in the right amount
- Document all floor downtime by time lost, when, and reason
- Keep track of all product changes and notify affected supervisors of each product change
- Keep track and record all grade and program cattle changes
- Keep track of amount of cattle cut daily and record
- Verify and document start and shift end times
- Verify cattle temperatures coming into Fabrication and documentation
- Assure all cut codes are in the system correctly
10 Complete all end of shift paperwork and verify is sent to interested parties
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
- Starting pay is $23.25 per hour.
