    I.  Job Summary:
     
    The “Sales Planner” will be responsible for organizing and coordinating sales operations to ensure the efficient execution of sales activities. This role involves scheduling internal sales-related events and meetings, gathering and analyzing sales forecasts, managing budgets, projects, and leads, and supporting the sales group with various administrative tasks. The “Sales Planner” will work closely with sales managers and other departments, including the ones in Japan HQ, to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and contribute to the overall success of the sales function.
     
    II. Duties/Responsibilities:
     
    Planning/Reporting 
    o Gather and analyze sales budget/forecasts from sales managers and other related departments
    o Gather and monitor projects/leads information collected from each sales group
    o Report to and communicate with Japan HQ regarding sales matters
     
    Coordinating
    o Coordinate training events with sales managers in collaborate with internal/external related entities to support continuous development
     
    Other related responsibilities 
    o Coordinate with other departments, such as sales administration and accounting, to ensure seamless operations
    o Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials
     
    III. Marginal Functions:
     
    Support occasional matters as directed
     
    IV. Required Skills/Abilities:
     
    Technical skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, events, and deadlines efficiently
    Analytical Skills: Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret sales data and forecasts 
    Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with sales managers and other departments
    Project Management: Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and executing projects and events 
    Budget Management: Understanding of budgeting principles and ability to manage and monitor budgets effectively
    Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection, reporting, and event planning
    Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and other department
    Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese 
    English skills are a plus
     
    V. Education and Experience:
     
    Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business or a related field 
    At least 2-3 years of sales planning or a related field
    Legal eligibility to work in the United States
     
     
    VI. Position in Organization:
     
    Reports to Strategic Marketing and Planning Group Manager
    Directly Supervises: None
     
    VII. Physical Requirements:
     
    Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer
    Essential position functions require ability to routinely read document for general understanding and analytical purposes and viewing a computer monitor.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $20 - $30 per hour
