Role Description:
The Application Engineer is responsible for serving end user customers and distributors in Brazil and South America by demonstrating the products and providing technical solutions and support for each customer, in accordance with the company guidelines.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical visits to customers;
- Propose the development or application of new products and solutions;
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to customers;
- Prepare technical test reports;
- Prepare and provide technical training for customers;
- Provide samples and demonstrate the application and performance of cutting tools to customers;
- Analyze and prepare proposals for new and existing machining processes;
- Present technical proposals to customers;
- Monitor the implementation of new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
- Related courses to machining process are desirable;
- Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience working with machining process and cutting tools applications;
- Have good relationships with customers and knowledge of the metalworking market in Brazil;
- Fluent English;
- Willingness to travel.
