Join Our Team  

You will be a Application Support Specialist that will help form efficient processes around IT business-critical applications. This collaborative global team is supporting our technology innovation vision in the insurance industry. You will report to the Production Support Lead.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring applications, file transfers, log files, and alerts to detect system issues. Escalate with relevant information for troubleshooting and prevention.
  • Identifying system and interface problems and work to resolve those issues.
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing and ensuring that test cases/protocols are delivered.
  • Following standards and processes in change management.
  • Updating system documentation, ensuring SOX compliance, and providing training to end users.
  • Collaborating and identifying best practices for system maintenance and support.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • 5+ years of IT applications experience.  Business process mapping is a plus. Insurance/Reinsurance knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experienced at problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent attention to detail and exceptional organization and follow-through skills. Act with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication, including the ability understand user requirements and expectations.
  • Be passionate and have the aptitude to quickly learn applications, business processes, and support cutting- edge technologies.
