Join Our Team  

You will be Senior Regulatory Analyst responsible for tracking new laws regarding regulatory and governance that may impact business. You will report to the Associate General Counsel, Head of Regulatory.

Your responsibilities will include:

Regulatory Duties:

  • Handle insurance company regulatory reporting requirements for SiriusPoint admitted domestic companies and handle surplus lines company filings, including applicable data calls for all companies.
  • Review and analyze state insurance department statutes, regulations, bulletins, etc. to determine new reporting requirements and advise relevant divisions. 
  • Develop and maintain extensive personal contacts with state insurance department staff. Represent the company, as needed, at industry meetings.
  • Handle Secretary of State renewals for applicable jurisdictions.
  • Assist Property & Casualty and Accident & Health business units with primary and expansion certificates of authority.
  • Maintain reinsurance licensing and accreditation and prepare supportive filings.
  • Experience with NCCI reporting and data calls.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university and 6+ years related experience and/or training.
  • Strong insurance regulatory filing background. Knowledge of business line products, including company organization and procedures and familiarity with insurance department filing portals.
  • Notary license preferable.
  • Excellent verbal and written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. 
  • Ability to work with remote teams.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems related to regulatory operations activities.

  • Highly organized.
  • Possess/exude a team player job attitude.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

SALARY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 per year to $100,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only.  In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
