This role will provide support to our Technical Accounting function across our MGA and Ceded Reinsurance areas as our growth plans continue and this was created in order to help with the burgeoning work in the team.

SiriusPoint is seeking a highly motivated Actuarial Analyst to join the US reserving team. You will have the opportunity to work on both insurance and reinsurance reserve analyses, build models, develop databases, and communicate to internal stakeholders. 

You will operate as Risk Analyst for Group Risk Team, and you will be based at our London, Stockholm, Zurich, or New York office or remotely in the United States.  To thrive in this position, you will be solution and delivery focused, energetic and have great influencing skills with 5+ years’ previous risk, audit, operations, or consulting experience in Insurance or Financial Services.     

In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of all commercial Property and Casualty claim handling related to SiriusPoint Programs/MGAs, whether in-house or through TPAs. This includes providing authority to settle and reserve claims above retentions, auditing and monitoring claim handling.

You will technically manage an assigned workload of global Property and Casualty reinsurance claims, ensuring all claims are handled in accordance with regulatory guidelines, while applying Company and Best Practices.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable data solutions, and implement best practices for data management, integration, and analysis. You will have a direct impact to the strategic and tactical asset allocation through quantitative tools to assess the portfolio composition and performance in different scenarios and to compare them with benchmarks and peers. Furthermore, you will manage the planning and forecasting process.

You will support the investment team in developing in-depth research, portfolio analytics and building portfolio management tools as well as be actively involved in making key investment decisions. Furthermore, you will partner closely with the external asset manager in optimizing the investment portfolio and ensuring alignment with the investment plan.

You will be our Associate General Counsel, Head of P&L Support (NA), a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Department.  In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day legal and regulatory support for the P&L leaders and their respective underwriting teams in North America.

You will be a Project Manager in our Programme Office and lead change projects on behalf of SiriusPoint’s markets and functions.

The Scrum Master is the guardian of the Agile team, the person who understands and resolves impediments for the team and champions the Agile process. As a facilitator, you will run the Agile events for the team (daily scrum, planning, reviews, etc.), mediate possible conflicts, coach/mentor the organization in agile practices and drive continuous improvement for the team.

You will be our VP Risk Manager and in this dual role will be responsible overseeing Risk Management for Bermuda and the US as well as Financial Risk Management at Group level. You will report to the Group CRO and be part of the global Risk Management Leadership team.
