You will be Share Plans Lead playing a key role in the effective planning, development and delivery of our employee equity compensation plans, so the company can effectively attract, engage and retain industry-leading talent.

The successful candidate will have a track record in stock plan administration / share plan management, gained either in-house or through a share plan provider. They will have experience of working in international listed company environments, and enjoy using their strong organizational, technical and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver an excellent employee experience, and effective program and process management.

In addition, the jobholder will contribute to broader reward activities such as compensation market assessments, salary and bonus reviews, and benefits enrolment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert equity compensation guidance and information to HR colleagues and plan participants.
  • Planning and managing each equity grant, including award terms and documentation, participant lists, employee communications, system uploads and award acceptances.
  • Ensuring appropriate management of joiners, leavers and transfers, in accordance with plan rules.
  • Managing award vestings including award pro-rating, share allocation, liaison with the share plan vendor and payrolls, tax withholding, share ownership calculations and employee communications.
  • Partnering with Finance to plan accruals, and to track and update vesting forecasts.
  • Partnering with Legal and Compliance on areas such as stock exchange announcements, share usage monitoring, close period/insider controls, the share-based component of Board directors’ fees, and ensuring the program runs in line with regulatory requirements and good governance.
  • Working in partnership with the share plan provider, to ensure delivery on action logs and SLAs.
  • Preparing content on share plans for the Compensation Committee, and regulatory filings.
  • Support colleagues on cash compensation and benefits activities, particularly in peak periods such as year-end, and providing vacation cover for colleagues.
  • Share knowledge on own area of expertise and contribute to cross-training as relevant, in support of overall team development.
  • Lead and/or contribute to projects, working with stakeholders to define and agree requirements.
  • Contributing to an effective control framework – including standard operating procedures, SOX, data protection, monitoring and responding to regulatory changes. Identify and recommend potential process improvements.
  • Contribute to a positive and engaged team ethos.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • Experienced equity compensation professional.
  • Share plans qualification e.g. CEP, or ICSA Certificate in Employee Share Plans.
  • Track record in listed company and/or share plan provider. Financial services experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of corporate variable pay structures and processes.
  • Experience of utilizing an equity administration system to ensure a great user experience, e.g. Shareworks, EquatePlus.
  • Thinks tactically across the various elements of compensation, assesses and evaluates trends.
  • Pro-actively multitasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational, project management and prioritization skills. 
  • A great collaborator and influencer. Skilled at engaging with stakeholders and building trusted relationships at all levels in the business, including for example, Finance and Legal colleagues. 
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences.
  • Skilled at analyzing data, develops sound and clear recommendations.
  • Excellent quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail, to ensure smooth running of complex processes, reports etc. Strong Excel (e.g. vlookups, PivotTables).
  • High level of personal integrity and experience managing sensitive/confidential data in a professional manner. Knowledge of SOX control requirements.
  • Ability to get things done efficiently including in ambiguous situations.

 

SALARY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 per year to $150,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only.  In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
