Join Our Team  

You will be a Corporate Strategy Senior Associate that will be an integral part of our collaborative team that drives high-growth partnerships via (re)insurance, fronting and strategic investments. Make an impact as you develop and lead execution of strategies that will drive profitable growth opportunities and competitive market advantages. This is your chance to be creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial. You will report to the Head of Distribution & Strategic Partnerships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the full lifecycle management of complex business problems from ongoing engagement, project scope definition to project management, delivery, and presentation to C-Suite.
  • Managing partnerships across the enterprise such as Operations, Finance, Actuarial, Product, IT, Innovation, Underwriting & Others to drive strong project delivery.
  • Structuring business issues/problems into phases and questions. Creating hypothesis testing, story building and deliverable production.
  • Driving problem solving sessions with key internal partners to develop processes, methodologies, and transition strategies that will guide them to the objective future state.
  • Building relationships with our internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges, and market conditions.
  • Partnering with the investment team in the negotiation and execution processes.
  • Identifying and communicating all recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Overseeing the implementation and execution of strategic recommendations.
  • Challenging the status quo and internal processes to identify opportunities that will be more effective and efficient.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • 3+ years of investment banking, corporate strategy, or consulting experience.  Insurance industry preferred.
  • Expert in creating Excel spreadsheets utilizing advanced functions (e.g., vlookups, macros, pivot tables).
  • Demonstrated experience with creating cash flow models and investment valuation techniques.
  • Ability to create and produce well-designed PowerPoint presentations that align with our investment strategies.
  • An exceptional communicator, collaborator, and mentor. Skilled at engaging with and building trusted relationships with leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Able to operate and excel at both strategic and tactical levels. Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
