The Opportunity
Nutanix is seeking a contract Talent Advisor / contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter providing coverage for someone on the team who will be going on a leave of absence; they will partner with key stakeholders across our Americas Go‑to‑Market and G&A organizations. This role requires an experienced, data-savvy talent acquisition professional capable of owning the full recruiting lifecycle—from market research and sourcing to candidate engagement and closing—while elevating the talent strategy through insights, technology, and exceptional stakeholder partnership.

Talent Advisors at Nutanix are strategic partners and talent experts with a proven background in hunting for and securing top talent within our industry. While knowledge of hybrid cloud and SaaS is ideal, it is not required. What is essential is the ability to understand evolving talent markets, influence leaders, and use modern tools—including AI platforms and talent analytics—to drive a competitive hiring strategy.
 
Your Role
Strategic Talent Partnership
  • Partner with hiring managers to consult on hiring plans, talent availability, and competitive positioning to meet hiring needs.
  • Advise leaders using data-driven insights from AI tools, talent market analytics, and competitive intelligence.
  • Drive influence with hiring managers and interview teams through unbiased and consistent hiring processes, enabling high-quality selection decisions.

AI-Enabled Sourcing & Pipeline Generation

  • Identify top talent through a combination of AI-powered sourcing tools (e.g., matching technology in the ATS, automated search agents), web sourcing, networking, research, referrals, and creative market outreach.
  • Build and manage diverse, strategic talent pipelines, actively engaging both current and prospective candidates.
  • Leverage AI to curate sourcing threads to accelerate talent pipeline development

Market Intelligence & Data Mapping

  • Conduct comprehensive talent market and organizational mapping to identify target companies, competitor structures, skill supply/demand, and regional talent availability.
  • Provide real-time updates and weekly insights on talent pools for all assigned requisitions, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Leverage internal compensation data, labor market research, and industry insights to guide hiring strategy and candidate engagement.

Full Life Cycle Recruiting

  • Lead recruiting initiatives from intake to close, including sourcing, screening, interview management, and offer negotiation.
  • Call, screen, and sell top-tier candidates on the career opportunity at Nutanix, acting as a strong brand ambassador.
  • Execute a high-touch candidate experience to ensure alignment, transparency, and strong relationships across the hiring lifecycle.

Data-Driven Recruiting Strategy

  • Track and analyze funnel metrics, time-to-fill, pipeline diversity, and conversion data to optimize recruiting outcomes.
  • Use dashboards, reports, and trend analysis to shape strategy, influence decisions, and drive process improvements.
  • Apply insights from performance metrics and market data to continually refine sourcing and engagement approaches.
What You Will Bring
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of related work experience in a search firm or in-house recruiting/sourcing, including full life-cycle recruitment supporting business units in G&A, technical sales or related GTM hiring
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools, talent analytics platforms, and market intelligence to drive proactive hiring strategies
  • Strong leadership, communication, consultative, and stakeholder partnership skills
  • Results-oriented with strong strategic thinking, innovation, and adaptability
  • Excellent time management, data tracking and attention to detail
  • Experience with Jobvite and Tableau is preferred but not required

 

Work Arrangement
Subject to business requirements, this role may be determined to be remote or in a hybrid capacity. If the selected candidate resides within 50 miles of a Nutanix office requiring in-office presence (specifically in San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, or Tokyo), it will require working onsite a minimum of three days per week. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by the people manager.
