About the Team

The Sr. UiPath Developer will be part of the IT Business Technologies team at Nutanix, located in Banglore. This dynamic team is committed to building a world-class organization that delivers innovative solutions within the rapidly evolving SaaS environment. The culture within the team emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and the agility necessary to adapt to growth challenges while supporting various business units such as finance, accounting, Sales etc. The mission of the team is to facilitate seamless processes and system integrations that drive efficiency and drive business performance across the organization.
You will report to the Sr.Manager of Engineering, who exemplifies a collaborative and empowering leadership style that encourages team members to take initiative and drive innovation. The team operates in a hybrid work model, requiring the hired candidate to be in the office a set number of days while allowing for flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

 

Your Role

As a Senior UiPath Solution Architect & Developer, you will be a technical leader responsible for the end-to-end automation lifecycle. With 10+ years of total IT experience and a minimum of 6+ years dedicated to UiPath, you will design, build, and scale "Intelligent Automation" ecosystems. This role requires a hybrid profile: a strategic architect who can define enterprise-wide RPA roadmaps and a hands-on expert capable of implementing complex Agentic Automation, GenAI, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows. 

 

What You Will Bring

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture, Strategy & Governance

• Blueprint Design: Create high-level architecture blueprints and detailed Technical Design Documents for complex, multi-system processes.
• AI Trust & Policy Governance: Define and enforce AI Trust Policies, ensuring that Generative AI and LLM-based components operate within ethical guardrails (e.g., preventing hallucinations and ensuring data sovereignty).
• Security Frameworks: Establish and own the RPA security roadmap, including the definition of Run Books, "Least Privilege" access models, and engineering guidelines.
• Capacity & Scaling: Lead BOT capacity management, ensuring the infrastructure supports volume spikes via elastic scaling in Cloud/Hybrid environments.

2. Security & Data Privacy (PII)

• PII/PHI Data Handling: Design and implement robust data masking, encryption-at-rest, and "Volatile Variable" techniques to ensure Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is never stored in Orchestrator logs or databases.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure all automations comply with global standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) and internal security audits.
• Secure Logging: Architect custom logging frameworks that provide operational visibility without compromising sensitive business data.
• Compliance: Familiar with SOX compliance

3. Advanced Integration & API Security

• High-Security APIs: Design and implement integrations using advanced authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and OpenID Connect.
• Credential Orchestration: Manage high-security credentials using CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, or HashiCorp Vault integrated with UiPath robots.
• API Shielding: Utilize UiPath Integration Service to build secure, throttled, and audited connections between the robot layer and core enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.).

4. Intelligent Automation & Agentic Development

• Agentic Automation: Design and implement AI Agents and autonomous workflows that leverage AI Center, Communication Mining, and Document Understanding.
• Human-in-the-Loop (HITL): Build complex validation and approval workflows using UiPath Action Center, UiPath Apps, and Forms.
• Core RPA Development: Lead the development of scalable, reusable workflows using the Robotic Enterprise (RE) Framework across Web, Desktop, Citrix, and Mainframe applications.

5. Database & Quality Engineering

• Data Mastery: Write and optimize complex SQL/DML statements, stored procedures, and perform advanced performance tuning for high-volume data processing.
• Automated Testing: Develop and maintain functional, regression, and API test cases using the UiPath Test Suite.
• Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to security and design standards, providing continuous technical direction to junior developers.

Technical Requirements

Core Experience

• Total IT Experience: 10+ years.
• UiPath Experience: 6+ years of deep, hands-on development and architecture.
• AI/ML Experience: Proven experience with Agentic Automation, ML Model deployment, and GenAI integration.

Technical Stack

• Programming: Expert knowledge of C#, VB.NET, or Java. Proficiency in Python for AI/Data scripts.
• Modern UiPath Features: Document Understanding, UiPath Apps, or Action Center.
• Data/Web: Strong in SQL, Oracle, LINQ, JSON, XML, and REST/SOAP API automation.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with hyper-scalers (Azure, GCP, or AWS) is highly recommended.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer or Solution Architect Certification. 
• Experience with cross-tooling (Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or Blue Prism). 
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for RPA.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
